After the surface of the part is electroplated with gold elements, the conductivity is even lower, almost close to the value of zero resistivity. Large parts can be electroplated with gold, and small parts can also be electroplated with gold. Gold electroplating is a difficult and expensive surface treatment process. Because gold is very expensive, it is necessary to control its thickness in electroplating to avoid unnecessary consumption and increase excessive costs.
Electroplating gold is carried out in two steps. First, nickel is electroplated on the surface of the copper. Then, gold is electroplated on the surface. The wastewater treatment after gold electroplating is treated to the standards of environmental protection requirements to avoid pollution to the environment.
